Estancia La Oriental, Buenos Aires

All meals are included in the cost of a stay at La Oriental. The fare is largely influenced by the Criollo traditions, with house favorites, or a casero touch thrown in for good measure.

Presentation in the formal dining room is quite genteel, with the settings and tableware exquisitely matched to the decor. Family style meals are comforting and conversation lively.

Homemade marmalades and toasts and breads are presented with a fine cup of coffee and juice for breakfast. You can expect a hearty meal for lunch and dinner featuring the famous Argentine meats and casseroles. Organic produce always accompanies these meals. Most likely your visit will include an

asado, grilled to perfection by Miguel, and served outdoors at a beautifully set, rustic long table. Wine is provided with meals. Otherwise the bar is self serve for purchase.

If cooking is your thing you are invited to lessons on bread-making in the mud oven, or putting up homemade marmalades. You can even become an asado expert during your time at La Oriental.
